The grades of non-alloy and alloy steel for the manufacture of seamless tubes for general mechanical constructions and machine construction as well as the delivery conditions are specified in SR EN 10297-1.
A series of grades of non-alloy and alloy steels for these tubes are: E235; H275; E315; E355; E470; C22E; C35E; C45E; 41Cr4; 25CrMo4; 34CrMo4; 42CrMo4; 36CrNiMo4; 16MnCr5.
