They are obtained by cold formation and welded longitudinally.
Size range:
a) Cold formed hollow sections, round: 21.3 × 2 ÷ 219.1 × 12.5 mm
b) Cold formed hollow sections, square: 15x15x1.5 ÷ 300x300x12.5 mm
c) Cold formed, hollow sections, rectangular: 20x10x1.5 ÷ 400x200x12.5 mm

Steel grades of non-alloy steels specific to cold-formed hollow profiles are: S235JRH; S275JOH; S275J2H; S355JOH; S355J2H; S355K2H.
